Nana Koofum, known in private life as Alexander Owusu Boakye, and a station officer in charge of the Senya Bereku police station in the Central Region, has sworn the oath of allegiance to Nana Okufrubuo Boamah Kwabi IV, Omanhene of the Beposo Traditional area.

Nana Koofum, known in private life as Alexander Owusu Boakye, and a station officer in charge of the Senya Bereku police station in the Central Region, has sworn the oath of allegiance to Nana Okufrubuo Boamah Kwabi IV, Omanhene of the Beposo Traditional area.

He succeeds the late Gyasehene, Nana Boansi Kru II.

The Omanhene, Nana Boamah Kwabi, advised the new chief to be humble and always exercise his functions as a chief and not a police officer to earn the respect of the people.

Nana Koofum thanked the Omanhene and nananom for reposing their trust in him, and for giving him the nod to be part of the team to ensure the welfare of the people.

He said he would use his experience as a peace officer to settle matters in the interest of peace and development.
