Nana Asiedu Taku Ababio, Chief of Babianeha in Jaman South District has advised teachers, clergymen, traditional authorities and Assembly Members to join the crusade in instilling discipline, moral and traditional values in the youth.

Delivering an address at a durbar to climax a week-long celebration of the Munufie Festival, Nana Taku advised the people to guard against practices that could ruin their lives.

He asked the elderly to advise the youth to shun illicit sex and inculcate in them true Ghanaian cultural values.

Nana Taku appealed to parents to be responsive to the needs of their children and to ensure their proper upbringing so that they would grow to become useful citizens.

Nana Kwadwo Amoah, Nkwankwaahene, called for peaceful co-existence and tolerance among the youth.

He cautioned parents to minimize their expenses on funerals and other social activities and to concentrate on the education of their children.

As tradition dictates, some prominent citizens of the area paid homage to the chief at his palace whilst some school children presented firewood to the chief and his elders.
