Mr. Frimpong indicated that the Obogu community market for example has enough space for additional structures including stores, stalls and even offices, adding that the Juaso Junction has a space huge enough for the construction of a truck park.

He said the Assembly is also hoping to build nursing training college for students who were not able to enroll into the government training school but ready to pay fees for enrollment.

The MCE said that, the project procedure they were taken through for soliciting for funding was refreshing to know and expressed his joy for attending the two days workshop in Kumasi.

He mentioned these while espousing his vision in an interview with ghanadistricts.com during a two days workshop organized by Trustworks Consulting Limited in collaboration with the Head of Local Government Service in Kumasi.

The workshop was to empower MMDA’s to equip participants with the requisite knowledge in project financing and, as well as access to global funding.

The MCE believes that by improving on their economic infrastructure they will be able to improve their revenue generation to meet their developmental needs and also achieve government policies.

He therefore called on all potential private investors to support with the needed funds to help develop the municipality.
