He made the call during a familiarization tour of the Municipal Assembly on 7th September 2017.

The Deputy Minister who was accompanied on the tour by the Head of Monitoring and Evaluation Unit at the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr. James Ayarik, advised the workers to work assiduously to ensure that the Municipality enjoyed its fair share of all government interventions aimed at improving the living standard of the people.

“You are the engine of growth at the Municipality so ensure that Local government machine keeps running.  Position yourself well to ensure you take full advantage of the one district one factory”, Mr. Ntim noted.

Before ending his speech, he regretted the unfortunate situation where government workers allowed politics to ground government plans and appealed to the gathering to seek the welfare of the people they were serving.
