Funds for the project according to the District Chief Executive, Francis Kofi Korankyi-Sakyi was provided by the Ghana COCOBOD for which the DCE was grateful to the them foe responding to their appeal to have the infrastructure problem in the school addressed.
The project which is expected to commence soon comes with 6-unit classroom block with auxiliary facilities including office, library, and toilet facilities.
Additionally, a borehole would be drilled as part of the project to ensure regular supply of potable water for the school, and possibly those around the vicinity of the school.
When completed, it will bring the total of infrastructure for basic schools to over 10 schools, a situation he said attests to the fact that they are on course to eliminating schools under trees and those on poor structures.
He called for support from the various stakeholders to make education one of the best in the region.
