Equip Assembly Members to educate public on COVID-19 fight – NALAG Prez
The National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG) has waged into the state of COVID-19 pandemic in the country vis-à-vis the attitude of the citizenry towards the outlined protocols.

The Association is worried that, despite the sharp measures in the positive cases which at the last count stood at 12,193, with 58 deaths, the citizenry appears unfazed about the damages associated with the virus.
Though the country has recorded some significant recoveries of 4,326 the danger still remains high.
NALAG President, Bismark Baisie Nkum speaking at a press briefing on the COVID-19 pandemic at Erata Hotel in Accra said the critical role of the local government, including local authorities; Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies and the Chief Executives (Mayors), and Presiding Members has been put to test in the wake of the novel coronavirus.
