"After an intensive thirty (30) days of fasting and prayers to Almighty Allah, there is a million reason to celebrate and be hopeful that our prayers have been answered by Allah the most high".Ramadan gives us the opportunity to get closer to our maker, renew our ties with God and also improve our relationship with fellow citizens; a month clouded in alms-giving and care and more importantly the month of Al-Quran.

"On behalf of the President of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, I wish to extend the warmest felicitations of Government to you all on this occasion of the celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitr.

The Tarkwa-Nsuaem MCE made this call on Friday, June 15, 2018 when he joined Muslims in Tarkwa to mark the Eid-ul-Fitr festival at the Tarkwa community centre. He further congratulated all Muslims for successfully completing the sacred one month journey fasting.

He urged the gathering not to relent on their efforts but continue to be steadfast in Allah and that he shall grants all their heart desires and give them unending strength and protection. Hon Asmah requested for special prayers for His Excellencies President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Alhaji Dr Mahmoud Bawumia as they are poised to deliver more social intervention programmes and projects for Ghana, may Allah guide their paths and give them more wisdom. We cannot forget how the duo successfully initiated the Zongo Development Fund (ZDF) and inaugurated the board to commence work.

"Whilst you make merry, please please be guided by the road safety measures so as to prevent any form of road carnages, I and our MP, Hon George Mireku Duker wish all our Muslim folks Barka Da Salah.
